There are things I do which are not art, they are sometimes not even very interesting - but I fix things or mess around with how they look or function. I think the action is an interesting conversation more than anything particular. There are a lot of things which we accept as fixed in place for no particular reason. So sometimes I am surprised when I do something easy and daft like spray paint my hairclips when they look shabby.
