The repair workshops
The Repair Workshops, was a 2011 project for the Victorian State of Design Festival. Over a 6 month period approximately 3 tons of damanaged goods donated to the Brotherhood of St Laurence were diverted from landfill and displayed, repaired and recycled.
The final outcome was a week of repair over the State of Design Festival, in the Melbourne CBD with an auction of goods and an open house weekend for members of public to visit. Including apointments for items brought in for repair.
