NGV: E-Waste Autopsy
2013, The National Gallery of Victoria. Public workshop by Eco Innovators alongside the Melbourne Now exhibition.
Gallery visitors, focusing on children and families, were invited to dismantle the NGV's collected e-wate to understand the difficulty in repairing and recycling electronics. Through a tactile experience, the complexity of materials and construction in electronics was investigated in an attempt to break down items into their individual material components.
